To determine the 96-h LC50 and 96-h NOEC (no observed effect concentration) of the test substance, FC-3072, for fathead minnow (Pimephales promelas) under static test conditions.
This study was conducted according to the ASc: study plan p retained by the Sponsor and OECD Guideline 203 (OECD 1984)-

Test organisms
3.0 TEST METHODS
Properties: FC-3072, amber colored liquid, specific gravity = 1.1 (water = 1), stable, and soluble in water.
Test concentxations: 0.0 .,(dilutionwater control) and 1,000 mg/L. Test solutions prepared by direct addition to each replicate test chamber.
Source: Healthy, juvenile fathead minnows (Pimephales promelas) obtained from a commercial supplier.
Holdinglacclimation: Held and acclimated for 12 days in the test dilution water. 0% mortality occurred during holding/acclimation period. At test termination, they were 2.2-3.0 cm in length and 0.108-0.193 g in weight with a mean of 0.139 g.
Use in test: Did not feed 24 h before test initiation. Used 10 organisms/replicate and 2 ireplicates/test concentration.
