S. Government requirements. We are somewhat concerned about, that portion of your label which states: "PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE QUANTITIES OF TALC.. I think we can agree that prolonged exposure to excessive quantities of anything, even such necessities of life as salt and water, can kill you in too large doses. We, think, therefore, that your label could lead to misinterpretation and thus, render a disservice to the tale industry as a-whole. . At the Department of Interior symposium on talc dust in May, 1973, there was unanimous agreement, even including Selikoff, that pure talc did not represent an unusual hazard. 1 would appreciate your comments on this.
