I regret that I was unable to personally be there, but Donna Harman, the intelligent and capable President & CEO of the American Forest and Paper Association, did a fine job in my place. We hope our session was as beneficial to you as it was to our members. We have received many excellent comments on the high value of your meeting, and we hope it will be the first of a regular series. As the CEOs mentioned to you at our session, we are here to assist you and your team, and are waiting in the wings should you need our help--politically, substantively, or in any matter. I would also like to extend a thank you to your participating staff, many of whom stayed to consult with our members well after the formal portion of our meeting ended. Sam Dravis; Brittany Bolen; Ryan Jackson; Tate Bennett; Lincoln Ferguson; and Mandy Gunesekara were all excellent and more than helpful. Our members are looking forward to a number of separate meetings with these individuals. On another note, I congratulate you and EPA on the appointment of Bill Wehrum to the Office of Air and Radiation. That job is vital to the majority of our members. We look forward to meeting and working with him in the very near future--along with you and your team in 2018 and beyond. The Trump Administration has brought a new day to the EPA.
