The retail value of such goods, of course, would be considerably more. Although the applicant corporation has made expenditures on media advertising for goods bearing the "LELAND" trademark during recent years> the applicant has found through experience that in the automotive parts field, media advertising is not as productive as other means of adver tising, and therefore relies primarily upon its sales force, frequent distributor contacts, catalogs (such as Exhibits A, B and c) point of sale material, and the like. Of the media advertising done in the past, the majority probably consisted of advertisements in trade publications.
