She is alleging that a chemical leukemia condition that she sustained was a result of her exposure to various fumes in our store, specifically from Opane and Polex pro ducts. only worked at the store from June of 1978 thru November of 1978. Despite the apparent weaknesses of her allegations, Aetna managed to lose the initial allowance on the hearing on the claim. I am still trying to obtain additional medical reports and other information from Aetna in order to get an explanation as to why the claim was allowed. I will forward this information to you upon receipt. Mr. Fitzgibbons and I would appreciate y.our reviewing the enclosed correspondence from our file and advising whether or not you are aware of any similar cases of leukemia that were caused by the same type of chemical exposure. We would also appreciate your advising us of any information concerning Industrial Hygiene Surveys done by your depart ment at our Syracuse store.
