In 1950 he vas trans ferred to the company's research laboratories at Brooklyn to direct the paint, pigment and coatings research and development activities and in 1953 he vas appointed assistant technical director. Mr. Zimmermann received his degree in chemical engineering as veil as his M.S. in chemistry from Lehigh University.
