He was 75 years of age. Mr. Simon had completed Vf years of service with the coapany at the time of his retirement in 1951* He began his career with the coapany as an office hoy in the Hew York office in 190^. Advancing through the general office he was appointed assistant treasurer in 1915 and ten years later treasurer. He was elected to the hoard of directors in 1935 and became a member of the executive committee in 1936. Mr. Simon was a member of the hoard of trustees at Jamaica Hospital. He is survived by his brother Gustave Swoon and his nephews Charles M.
