Subject Re: Dispersion modeling data Q
Ann,
W e have a ballpark number for influent data. However, there is work and data that teams need to do in sequence in order to run the final Toxchem model. From what I understand, Rick's team was gathering more accurate data on influent to the W W TP. I also understand that we need some data regarding sorption kinetic data for the compound of interest to input into the model. Maria's team was going to develop that data. W e can run a sensitivity analyses on the model to see how bad they impact the outcome of the model. W e will need that data for the final run of the model. Rick - can you get us this in time so that we can run som e iterations on the ToxChem model?

folks, W e need to have this data to Cathy by the end o f next week (4/11). W e are under a tight timeline to deliver results and it will be an iterative process as we learn more. -- Thanks
Let me know if you have any difficulty meeting 4/11. - Ann

Irene and Mark,
Thanks for donating your valuable time today. Just to make sure I've captured the information correctly, let me recap. You guys are going to run your T O X C H E M model to see if we even generate an emission rate from the basins in Environmental Treatment. If you do generate a number and it seems unreasonable, you will apply the appropriate reduction factor to account for removal in the system before informing us of that emission rate. Since Charlie has run the model on your exact system, I believe the

emission rate is ail we need. If TO XCH EM generates no emission rate, we will document that for E P A and assume no modeling of that area is necessary.
You also mentioned you would look at the stripper to see if we need to consider it as an emission point. If so, we'll have to make some assumptions about what the emission rate Is and how many days/weeks/months we need to consider to capture the representative emissions.
I think that's it. Please let me know if I've misunderstood anything or if you have any questions
