Samantha Dravis serves as Senior Counsel and Associate Administrator, Office of Policy at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where she is one of Administrator Scott Pruitt's key advisors. The Office of Policy is the primary policymaking arm of EPA, providing multi disciplinary analytic skills, management support, and special expertise in the areas of regulatory policy and management, environmental economics, strategic environmental management, and sustainable communities. Prior to serving at EPA, Samantha worked as General Counsel to the Republican Attorney Generals Association, and President of the Rule of Law Defense Fund, a policy organization dedicated to advancing the policy obj ectives of the 27 Republican state attorneys general, which often included the states' battles with President Obama's executive actions. She has also previously served as Associate Director of Political Affairs at The White House during the administration of President George W. Bush, as Legislative Assistant to Congressman Dan Lungren of California, and as a litigation associate at the law firm Taft, Stettinius & Hollister. Samantha was honored as one of this year's "Future 40" leaders in business, politics and entrepreneurship under 40 by Maverick PAC, an organization dedicated to advancing the next generation of conservative leaders.
