I'd like to try and get the 1Q 2003 SO Summaries out onto e-news in mid-April if I can. That means I need your contributions (1-2 paragraph brief update on a tangible SO-related accomplishment as usual) by April 7. I appreciate your efforts to dig up good summaries which cover a broad range of accomplishments. I think the Quarterly Summaries have been on a steady improving trend and provide the basis for other communications efforts and follow-up work. Please see attached for a draft of the SD summary for the Shanghai Benzene study - However, after some thinking, I would ask whether we want to publicize this internally at this time, given some of the ongoing issues with the project?

SD Summary - Shanghai Benzene: Shell Chemical is participating in a multi-stakeholder health study in Shanghai, China, which aims to better define the risks from exposure to benzene as part of ongoing product stewardship and safety and health programs. This study will help the Benzene business unit improve its protocols for exposure limits and mitigation measures. As part of this initiative, a state-of-the-art clinical and molecular laboratory is being built on the Fudan Medical University campus to support the research project and the Shanghai medical community and will remain at Fudan once the project is completed
