In it, you have suggested that at some future annual meeting we might consider a paper from the LIA on the subject of environmental health research as it affects the lead industries. More specifically, you have asked wiether this might be considered for next year's Management Conference. I am sure you will recognize that a decision on the part of the LIA in such a matter is much broader based than the simple availability or non-availability of data pertaining to the subject. Having this in mind, I would like to ask if we could table the invitation until the next annual meeting of the Association, which will take place in April. Then, if your program is not already filled and assuming our Board of Directors approves, I would like very much indeed to take advantage of your kind offer.
