Pratt & Lambert Lead and Oil Paint White is a new unlisted item which was adopted at the Managers' Meeting held February 21-22, 1951. It will be made available to those distributors who wish to augment their supply of house paint because of our inability to manufacture House Paint 300 Outside White in the quantities currently desired.
Lead and Oil Paint White is a straight lead and oil composition. It does not hide so well as House Faint 300 Outside White and costs more to make. It will have good exterior durability, but is not a free chalking paint like House p3int 300 Outside White.

NEW EXTERIOR WORK - Touch up knots and sappy spots with 2&L WP-578 Sealer or shellac.
First Coat: BfcL Lead & Oil Paint, each gallon thinned with one quart raw linseed ellwand pac ha If pint turpentine or mineral spirits.
Second Coat: Putty all nail holes. Then apply P&L Lead & Oil Paint, each gallon thinned with one pint turpentine or mineral spirits.
Third Coat: P&L Lead & Oil Paint in the consistency supplied.
OLD EXTERIOR WORK - Two-Coat Job
First Coat: PfcL Lead & Oil Paint, each gallon thinned with one pint turpentine or mineral spirits.
Second Coat: P&L Lead & Oil PBint in the consistency supplied.
One-Coat Job - PBcL Lead & Oil Paint in the consistency supplied. If surface to be painted i very hard, thin with a little turpentine or mineral spirits.
