Also submitted are two corresponding paraffin blocks. Microscopic: Sections of the bronchus (and cell blocks of bronchial aspirate) show a poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of the bronchus. Some of the tumor cells are large with pale cytoplasm, others exhibit maturation to spindle shape parakeratotic cells. Diagnosis: 1. Poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma, bronchus. Louis B.
