EPA has mandated that the labels of all outdoor agricultural use products which are applied to crops whose culture requires hand labor bear specific farmworker safety language. Tobacco is included in this category. The following statements must be added to the label: 1. Do not apply this product in such a manner as to directly or through drift expose workers or other persons. The area being treated must be vacated by unprotected persons. 2. It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with it's labeling. 3. Do not enter treated areas without protective clothing until sprays have dried. 4. AVISO!
