TONKIN: Pursuant to our discussion concerning the above subject this morning, I suggest that the following paragraph be added to the letter to be written to Mr. Robert P. White: "As you requested, the amended Specifications have been drawn to permit the manufacture of SOMASTIC Pipe Coating which includes asbestos or, alternatively, which includes fiberglass. In order for your customers to distinguish between the two different types of pipe coating (which will both be sold under the SOMASTIC trademark), it is desirable that they be distinguished by the use of different generic terms or grade designations. From our point of view, one could be SOMASTIC Asphalt/Asbestos Pipe Coating and the other SOMASTIC Asphalt/Fiberglass Pipe Coating. If shorter names are desired, SOMASTIC Pipe Coating A and SOMASTIC Pipe Coating F could be used; the "A" and "F" denoting Asbestos and Fiberglass, respectively.
