Focus and resource has been dedicated to air and water screening/monitoring. 2. Main challenge and risk is that laboratories do not currently have the capability to test for all PFAS identified in the Regulation 61 Notice. Action: AGCCE to keep EA informed of progress with laboratory method development for Annex II and Annex III PFAS. 3. EA confirmed level of detail from the laboratory on test methodology is acceptable e.g. determinant, accreditation status (if applicable), method (i.e. LC/MS, LCMS/MS) and detection limits. AGCCE to provide additional detail on sample collection e.g. type of sample containers to be used. 4. Action: EA to share requested documents to assist with AGCCE sampling methodology. 5. EA confirmed Site-Specific Protocol (SSP) is sufficient to cover the requirement for the screening & monitoring methodology for air samples. 6. Action: AGCCE to share draft details on air monitoring proposals i.e. where OTM 45 cannot be followed due to the laboratory not currently being able to analyse the sample. 7. Action: AGCCE/EA to arrange technical discussion in the new year with our air emissions monitoring team to confirm plan for air emissions screening/monitoring. 8. Upcoming Regulation 61 submissions are on track. 9. AGCCE Permit Variation pre application advice to come from NPS chemicals officer and regulation 61 team to be involved in discussions particularly around the approach to permit limits and risk assessment requirements.
