RE: EVALUATION OF N-14 HEADER MATERIAL NOV 261984 Badin has evaluated N-14 material for HDC headers since 1984 July ____ Impetus for the tests has been to eliminate Molten Metal Marinite. the TastTasbestos-bearing material in the Ingot Plant. The evaluation was conducted by first running molds with N-14 headers mixed with molds containing Marinite headers. Results, summarized below, showed N-14 to be equivalent to Marinite in performance.
