I'm certainly hoping that we will stay in touch and continue the collaboration we started, not to mention our personal friendship and FitBit competition! :) I'm on vacation next week but I'd appreciate if you could give some thought to who the replacements from EPA would be and we can perhaps speak week of August 14 or 21? Are you going to be at NIEHS SR workshop August 24-25? I will be. Have a good weekend and again, thank you for your service and I'm not saying goodbye! :) Katya Sent from my iPhone - apologies for typos On Aug 4, 2017, at 11:57 PM, Beck, Nancy <Beck.Nancy@epa.gov> wrote: Katya, I've run all the traps and I think the easiest and best path forward is for me to step down from the board. In reality, even if it was workable ethically, I would not be able to devote to it the time that you all deserve. As you know, since I started here at EPA I have had no time to contribute to the dialogue. However, I hope I can continue to participate in EBTC activities and collaborate as a government stakeholder. I'm happy to work with you to help brainstorm replacements. Regards, Nancy Nancy B. I'd like to strongly encourage you to attend the meeting, of course, because your advice and guidance are extremely valuable for the EBTC, as we grow and evolve as an organization. This time the meeting is going to be held a day before the EBTC/EFSA Colloquium in Lisbon, Portugal. The venue is already available and will be used for both events, but we will send more info on group rates, registration etc., in the coming weeks. This presents a great opportunity to see the first product of one of the EBTC Workgroup: Education WG headed up by myself and Daniele Wikoff from Tox Strategies and Paul Whaley of University of Lancaster. The group worked hard together with EFSA staff over the last 9 months on putting together the Colloquium and will be guiding the discussions and facilitating the follow-ups from the meeting in the following months. So if you could please respond to the following short questionnaire on your planned attendance for both events, I'd appreciate it: https://gj Ex. 6 i i_________________________________________________________________ : More info will follow in the coming month.
