GARTH P)\M C&P, CHESTNUT RUN STANDARDS COMMITTEE MEETING 3/19/82 at Newark It was agreed that the procedure adopted for Permanent Standards and Sampling Lot Acceptance instituted earlier this year has been ef fective.. J. F. Kane has issued an Action Code List incorporating changes. A summary of standards evaluated by Technical Service show that 3 have been received during 198.2 with 3 being evaluated and 4 in active. We expect to receive ten additional candidates during the 2nd quarter. Roy Pancoast indicated that because of the change from micropulver izer to the Bauer Mill, new standards for Krolor Medium Yellows (KY-787-D, KY-795-D and KY-907-D) would not be available until the end of the 2nd quarter. It was pointed out that the Kesternich Cabinet performance of these Bauer Milled materials should be better than current quality based on Newark tests. Roy also provided a list of Shipping Standards used by Newark showing the year of adoption. Inventories of each will be supplied by the next meeting (April 16, at Newport). N 26982 TO: D. E. You should use this as a basis for establishing an up-dated list of shipping limits recommanded for use by Newark.
