The enclosed brochure details how our partnership with local educators and community leaders works, but here are several key features: S Funding for computers and related technology for student educational use v' Flexible grants to fit within each district's priorities and needs S A streamlined application process, starting with a proposal letter due by June 1 S Funding decisions in time to install equipment before school starts again next fall To involve public schools in your area in the selection process, contact or write school principals or the superintendent ofyour school district encouraging the district to apply under the Solutia Education Connection program. The superintendent of your school will then submit an application letter on behalf of the entire district to the program's selection committee. Proposals from superintendents must be received before June I, 1999 for consideration in this school year's selection process.
