Kittilstad Location and mail code 2125/2B Location and mail code 1125/4 Over the past several years, Corporate Health and Safety has conducted industrial hygiene surveys at your locations apu provided recommendations for correcting health hazards or improving procedures to protect employees health. Because of the nature of these recommendations, it is vitally important for legal and ethical reasons that these recommendations be acted upon and that these actions be adequately documented. We have been asked by Senior Management to develOD a procedure to insure that all health and safety recommendations are fully addressed and, followup actions taken, be documented and kept on file with the original reports. To update the records on past surveys we are compiling by plant a summary of recommendations made and our current knowledge of documented corrective actions. You aie requested to review these summaries and provide an update on the actions taken on all recommendations including copies of backup document ation where applicable. During future surveys, we will specifically review actions on old recommendations with Plant Management for their implementation and effectiveness. We will also request a quarterly update on the actions taken on all new recommendations be provided for the record. The Riverside and Hillsboro A/C Pipe Plants will be surveyed in May and June respectively. Attached is a summary of past recommendations provided to those plants.
