At a regular seating of the Directors of John T. Lewis & Bros. Company held this day in their offices in the Widensr Building, there were present:

The meeting was sailed to order by Mr* Leonard T. Beale, who presided, and Mr. Morris H* Merritt reported the minutes of the meeting*
The minutes of our meeting of Marsh 17 were read and approved*
Figures were presented by Mr. Beeves showing that during,
the last twelve years, 1926 to 1938, our white-lead-in-oil sales
have declined about 28% and our corresponding selling expenses
have increased about li. This situation wea very carefully discussed.

Mr. Gardiner referred to a letter received from Mr. Tibbets dated March 11 regarding interior titanox paste and he will arrange to reply to the points raised in this letter*
Mr.Gardiner submitted the regular weekly report of shipments*
It was decided to continue our library sustaining memberships with the Franklin Institute at a cost of #25.00 per year.
There being no further business upon motion the meeting adjourned*
