Subject: Comments from The Chemours Company FC, LLC - Thermal and Specialized Solutions segment to the Expert Summary
Reports
Dear Madam, dear Sir,
On behalf of The Chemours Company FC, LLC's Thermal and Specialized Solutions segment, we would like to thank you
for the opportunity to submit information to the Call for Evidence launched on July 19, 2021. We value your continued
collaboration and openness to input from varied stakeholders across the EU industrial value chain.
We hope our input provided in the questionnaire form helps provide clarity on the uses, socioeconomic contributions,
and lack of viable alternatives to F-gases. For ease of reference, please find attached a copy of our questionnaire. This
submission, and information provided, focuses on f-gases and this portion of Chemours' portfolio within the scope to
better capture product-specific information. In parallel, a separate submission from the Chemours Advanced
Performance Materials segment will be provided, focused on fluoropolymers.
We would also like to thank you for providing expert summary reports of the input that you have received to date. It
was useful to have a clear understanding of the methodology and definitions used in these analyses. After carefully
reviewing these reports, we would like to share some of our observations for your consideration.
Attached, please find a document in which we highlight parts of the summary reports where our data on the f-gas
market differs from the relevant report. We hope for the opportunity to discuss these differences at an appropriate
time, to ensure a shared complete and accurate understanding of the F-gas market in Europe.
Chemours supports a coherent regulatory framework that promotes safe and sustainable chemicals in the EU, and we
are committed to supporting this regulatory process along those principles. We hope the information submitted is
useful in this process. Please reach out wo information.
REN you have any further questions or require additional
We look forward to maintaining an open dialogue as this process continues.
Sincerely yours,
NE Dercrorn Operations Sarl
