Thermal oxidizer feeds are derived from heavy ends from distillation of ethylene dichloride and of vinyl chloride monomer, heavy ends or distillation residues from carbon tetrachloride and from trichloropropene production, and chlorinated hydrocarbon waste from chlorine production. Sulfur, lead and mercury do not contact the chemicals in any of the above processes at any time before their disposal.
