Emergency Response Committee - Annual Report - Roy Sanders, Chairman of the E.R.C., gave the annual report to the FJC. The Council commended the ERC for the excellent work it has achieved over the past year. Roy Sanders has accepted the assignment to continue as Chairman for the next 12 months. 2. The PSC has decided to include the Lake Charles written Hazard Communication Program as Procedure #13 in the Procedures Manual. The objective is to make this program more accessable to a larger segment of our work force. 3. The PSC affirmed its continued support for the Maintenance Lead Man Safety Training Program and will relay this through the line organization. McCorquodale was charged with coordinating a review of the current training format and revising or updating as necessary. 4. John Fike, PSC liaison to the Safety Training Sub-committee, asked for a review of the Committee's charge and status. This review was completed and discussed. The PSC concluded that the original charge of the Safety Training Sub-committee has been met and the Safety Training Sub-committee is removed from active status. The PSC commends all members who contributed to the excellent results produced. & Distribution PSC Meeting - 7/20/88 Page 2 5. OSHA Inspection - McCorquodale reported on the recent 3-1/2 day OSHA inspection. No citations were issued and the plant was commended by the Compliance Officer for the open exchange between Management and the hourly employees. 6. The Council agreed to devote the full agenda of the August PSC Meeting to a review of the objectives and charge of the Plant Safety Council.
