Pete --
Thanks again for facilitating Secretary Duffy's April 2 appearance at the EPW committee. At the hearing, Secretary Duffy told the committee of the 3,269 grant awards that were announced before he took office and did not have signed grant agreements. Chairman Capito and Ranking Member Whitehouse share the Secretary's desire to see grant agreements executed for announced projects in an expeditious manner. Our committee would like to receive regular updates on the grant agreements that are signed in order to track the progress in clearing this backlog. Please let us know how many and which of the 3,269 announced grant awards now have signed grant agreements. Additionally, we would like to receive an update from the Department on a biweekly basis going forward that includes the total number of grant agreements signed for the 3,269 projects and which projects grant agreements have been executed for.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks
Adam and Dan
