These are In various physical farms, vis., shsets, strips, cloth weaves, point, tapes and cement. Those which are scabined with inorganic silicates are the iype used predominately. (102 - 102.1 - icft).
These naterlais are usually first prefabr .cated in tha ahop. Being an oneloeed build.n^, liberal /entilation is supplied around the area where fabrication is done. The final application of all Insulating notarial* is ganerally in open spaces and any alffilficant quantities in air are assumed to be negligible.
Our Industrial Hygiene Section has aade arrangements with Mr. p. Manella of the Occupational Health Department of the University o. Pittsburgh to aseist us. Their role will be to count and to aeaaure any asbestos fibers in sir analysis which we will submit to them. Ths plsa is to start collection of air samples Septeabsr 1, 1)66.
