I incised and secured good drain age and they eventually healed but the in fection was followed by rheumatic fever which drifted around much like an acute articular rheumatism. We were not able to find any blood stream infection, but I feel convinced that the wound was the source of the infection He has recovered and is now able to be about but I am still of the same opinion as you that the gasoline had nothing to do with the trouble.
