of St. Louis issued the plant a Notice of Violation citing a Missouri State Regulation regarding airborne and visible particles beyond plant premises greater than 40 microns in size. The plant responded as requested advising the City of our control procedures and monitoring programs/techniques. The Air Control office made an inspection of the plant on July 30, 1984 and subse quently issued their report which commented that cleanup of spillage at access doors and other leakage points needed more attention. The Air Pollution Con trol office conducted an unannounced followup inspection on September 14, 1984 but have not furnished us a written report as of this date. The tone of the visit was positive. The inspectors observed routine checking of stack with the "black" cloth method and commented about the improved housekeeping at spillage points. Current Status Since filing of the suit by Mr. Williams, our litigation counsel, Tom Bistline has been dealing with Mr. William's counsel. Discovery is proceeding. The trial date has not been set.
