Simpson and myself have read your report on your trip to Pittsbugh for the purpose of attending the meeting held at the Mellon Institute, It is our feeling as a Corporation, that wo hardly need to go to the additional expense of joining the group, who are to moke use of tho services of the Mellon Institute, for th3 reason that we have a pretty definite program which yourselves and ourselves aro following. Of course there is the angle of getting as many of the indus tries interested as possible in order that proper legisla tion may be enacted, but feel that we could determine what is best for our own industry. By tho way, it was only today that Mr. Simpson made the suggestion that possibly the time is ripe to try and get the Asbestos Institute, or at any rate, as many of tho manufacturers in the industry, interested.
