Applications for membership in the Lead Industries As'ociation shall he acted upon, following their re ceipt, at the next meeting of the lao.ud of dire1 tors or the executive committee. A majority vote shall elect LIA20500 6 an applicant t<> membership. (The applicant shall, signify an.rpt.iikc of elation by subscribing his or its name to the Constitution and By-Laws.) SEC. 2. Any member may withdraw at any time from membership in the Lead Industries Association by gning formal notice of such withdrawal to the Secretary, and fulfilling all obligations to the association incurred by that member to the time of withdrawal. Sec . 3. Kach member shall have one vote and all members shall have the same status. Ar t ic l e II Meeting! of Member! Sec . 1. In the cJ'C of the mining, smelting and refining branches of the lead industries, the lead pro duced m ores am! concentrate', or lead bullion and pig lead, respectively, shall he the basis of the assessment; in the ease of the manufacturing, reselling or consum ing branches ot the lead industries, the lead consumed, whether virgin or secondary, shall be the basis. A schedule ot asses.incuts shall he drawn up based upon the four major divisions represented in the association, i.c.. (a) mining, lb) smelling and relining, (c) nunuf.ic Hirers of lead product', (d) consumers of lead who do not sell their lead products. .Assessments shall be le'ied on each of the above divisions according in the following ratio: (a) 4, (b) I, (c) 2, (d1 1...
