Me KINNEY, Manatltr April 29, 1948 MEMORANDUM #129 TO: All Member Companies SUBJECT: Balloting on the Air Hygiene Program Recommended by the Air Hygiene Committee. 1. At the Institute's meeting held on December 5, 1947, an air hygiene program costing $5,000.00 for a year was recommended and presented to the membership by the Industrial rtygijtene Foundation through the Air Hygiene Committee. (See Minutes and Recommendation of the Air Hygiene Committee Meeting held on November 19, 1947 for details of this program.) It was agreed, at this time, that this recommended program be studiedby the member companies and a final decision made at the April meeting. 2. Memorandum #126, dated February 12, 1948, from the Manager's office advised the member companies that they would be polled regarding this recommended program at the April 8, 1948 meeting. 3. Since all member companies did not have representatives instructed or authorized to vote on this question at the April 8th meeting, the Manager was directed to handle the voting by mail. Enclosed is a ballot to be filled in and returned to the Manager's office stating your company's decision as regards this recommended minimum program. - 4.
