Section I - INTRODUCTION
Perdure Petroleum, LLC / Robert Sands Inspection Date: 03/23/2020
PURPOSE OF THE INSPECTION EPA Region 6 inspector K.W. Sanborn visited the Perdure Petroleum, LLC oil and gas facility located near Shidler, Oklahoma on 03/23/2020 for an unannounced inspection. There were no representatives of Perdure Petroleum, LLC present for the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
FACILITY DESCRIPTION This facility is known as the Robert Sands Tank Battery.
Section II - OBSERVATIONS I observed less than one foot of fluids inside the secondary containment area during the inspection. Fluids were seeping from the base of the west and north sides of the berms of the secondary containment during the inspection. I observed some surface damage outside of secondary containment on the west and north sides from the tank battery.
Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN The secondary containment berms were leaking at the base of the berms.
Section IV - FOLLOW UP EPA Region 6 will refer this facility to EPA Region 6 SPCC program.
