I "Environment* shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.1. 1 "Environmental Indemnification Period" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.3. "Environmental Permits" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.1. "EPA" means the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. "ERISA" shall mean the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended, and any successor thereto. 1 *Experience* shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.8. "Final Closing Balance Sheet" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.8(g). "Final Net Worth" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.8(g). "Financial Institution" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.20(a). "Financial Statements" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.3. "Fourth Year Claims" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.20(b). "GAAP" means generally accepted accounting principles in the United States. "Government.Authority" shall mean any government or state (or any subdivision thereof), whether domestic, foreign or multinational (including European Community), or any agency, authority, bureau, commission, department or similar body or instrumentality thereof, any governmental court or tribunal (or any private tribunal whose determinations are enforceable in a governmental court or tribunal) or, except fox purposes of Article VIII, any self-regulatory organization.
