Troy, GA Project Learning Tree received 2 grants from a partnership with the American Forest Foundation/Project Learning Tree Education Program and EPA/ee360 grants to deliver Project Learning Tree educator training to educators:
45 Bleckley County Elementary School teachers will receive training, Oct. 10th supported by this grant at Gully Branch Tree Farm
39 UGA 4-H environmental educators will receive Project Learning Tree training in late August/early September in preparation for students at GA4-H centers around the state (BTW, GA4-H has reached over 1 million students through their camp environmental education programs)
Kathy Mcglauflin, with AFF/Project Learning Tree is compiling an executive summary of this work as we speak and should have to me by close of business tomorrow. Which I will forward to you asap. In addition, I am working on several executive summaries and a Yout The video is live on YouTube to show field trips Earl and I have hosted for 22 years to support the facts of forestry/wildlife/water.
