Knox Jr. United States Application Number 178,352 Filed Deo. 6, 1937 For "Method of Producing White Lead" Dear Sir :-- Under the provisions of the International Convention to which this country is a party, foreign applications can be filed in other convention countries within twelve months of the filing of the above entitled U. S. application, and obtain the priority date of the U. S. application. Most of the important European countries arc parties to the Convention. If you desire to take advantage of these provisions in the filing of any foreign application, will you please let us know in sufficient time so that the application may be filed within the twelve months period referred to, which expires on Deo. 6, 1938. If you desire further information regarding other countries, we will be glad to write you more fully regarding them. If you do not desire to file any foreign applications we would be obliged if you wifi advise us to that effect so that we may know that the matter requires no further attention.
