Grumbles May 25, 1988 LCA BOARD MEMBERSHIP VISTA The Louisiana Chemical Association Board will have a considerable number of openings later this year. I think a Vista Plant Manager, specifically, John Friend, should be on the LCA Board. LCA is beginning to exhibit positive leadership in Louisiana for our industry. The Board has a lot to do with directing that activity. I think John would benefit from his perspective. At this point, I have not talked to John about his involvement with LCA. Board business would probably take 5 -.10 days per year. Most of the meetings are in Baton Rouge. We need to contact LCA in late June if we want to nominate John. What do you think? T. G.
