Doug is our point on this issue and is in contact with a variety of producers in the area. We are glad to meet, but Doug is spearheading our effort from Denver. If not, we hope we might be able to schedule in late November or early December. Many Thanks, -Bret Ryan and Mandy - I am writing on behalf of Crescent Point Energy, an upstream oil and gas company, to request a short meeting with you on November 6 or November 7 regarding a pressing air regulatory and policy issue in the Uinta oil and gas basin in eastern Utah. Crescent Point is developing significant oil and gas resources on the Uinta and Ouray Native American Indian Reservation within the basin. This region may be designated as non-attainment for ozone in the near future. The critical issue confronting the company and the rest of industry in this basin is that EPA does not have a tribal permitting program in place that will allow for continued oil and gas development upon such a designation. We are coordinating with the new EPA Region 8 Administrator Doug Benevento on this issue. 17cv1906 Sierra Club v. EPA - 6/22 Production ED 001523 00004986-00001 Crescent Point management would like to meet with you to brief you on the company's development plans, the critical nature of this issue to its business, and to propose a potential solution for consideration. We would not want to take up more than 15 minutes of your busy schedules. We have a separate meeting already scheduled from 1:30pm to 4pm on November 7, but are flexible on November 6 and around those times on the 7th. Thank you for your time and consideration. We hope to hear from you soon. -Bret Sumner An attorney for Crescent Point Energy Bret Sumner | Beatty & Wozniak, P.C.
