EPP Drill
Gene would like to get tapes of EPP drill edited and shown to December PMSB. It was recommended that the two video tapes be combined into about 20 minutes. It was suggested we get Mike Kukuk and Dot Howard to do this. Send all critique comments to Steve.
Quarterly Inspections
An analysis of how to improve Quarterly Inspections will be made. Some of the items to consider are shown below:
1. The safety log book will be an emphasis area for the 1st Quarter quarterly inspection (from HSC).
2. Group findings after inspections will be reviewed with the departments inspected (from PMSB).
3. One member of the inspection committee will carry over from the previous inspection (from PMSB).
4. Judging against standards rather than competitive inspections may be desirable.
5. Quarterly inspections between Texas City and Chocolate Bayou may or may not be desirable.

Hourly Safety Committee Meeting
Jack Trafton was the guest speaker.
The HSC is concerned with fire permit use. Paul Bailey will clarify this.
Contractor Safety
Contractor Evaluation forms (used during shutdowns) need to be given to Purchasing. The plan is to get the forms started in Maintenance, sent to Safety for additional comments, circulated to Manufacturing, and summarized between these three groups with feedback to Purchasing.
Public Relations
Publicity will be increased through the following actions:
1. Calendars will be sent out.
2. Plant News articles will be prepared.

( b. Article on STOP cards for November
3. Holiday safety leaflets will be distributed by the Hourly Safety Comrnittee.
