Kehoe Kettering Laboratory of Applied Physiology Eden Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio February 16, 194-3 Dear Dr. Kehoes You will recall your previous correspondence with Dr. Schmidt relative to the development of an Advisory Standard for employment of young workers in industries involving exposure to lead. This Advisory Standard has been completed and is now available for distribution. A copy is enclosed. If you would like additional copies, please let me know and they will be sent you promptly. Since the suggestions, contained in this leaflet are entirely voluntary, we hope to promote the suggestions through wide distrib ution to persons and organizations interested in the employment of young workers in the lead-using industry. We will contact the various trade associations, labor organizations, and safety groups requesting the assistance of their organization in bringing this matter to the attention of employers. In this way we hope to get wide distribution and acceptance of the suggestions. You will be interested in knowing that Dr. Schmidt has been transferred from the Industrial Division to the Division of Health Services and is now located in San.Francisco. I want to take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of Dr. Schmidt for the help you have given us in the completion of t h i s 'Advisory Standard. Sincerely yours, r\ *o Enclosure S. W.
