My dear Dr. Drinker: I am anxious to get some recent data on the health hazard connected with the operation of lead tempering pots The process of lead tempering.is used extensively in many of the modern automobile shops. If you have ajay data or can direct me where I can get such data, I would be very glad if you would let. me know. The International.Harvester Company is using this process rather extensively end the manufacturing men maintain that the hazard in the present operation of these pots without hooding or exhaust is eliminated because of a carbon compound which is kept on the surface of the mol tern lead.
