Andy Counts, CEO of the American Home Furnishings Alliance, and Bill Perdue, VP for Regulatory Affairs, will be in Washington, DC on Thursday June 15, 2017. They were hoping to meet with you to discuss the 'Formaldehyde Emission Standards for Composite Wood Products' rulemaking. We worked with the agency over the last seven years through development and then recently with the delay in the effective date and the subsequent Direct Final Rule/Proposed Rule on the Compliance Date extension. The AH FA represents furniture manufacturers and our main issue in the rulemaking has been the treatment of laminated products. We were hoping to go into more detail on the impact of the EPA rule and discuss next steps. Sierra Club v.
