Dear Secretary Zinke:
The Western Caucus Foundation (WCF) is pleased to invite you to participate in our Annual Winter Policy Roundtable meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada, on December 7th and 8th. Click here for the event info and agenda or see attached. We would like you to provide remarks in a session with Western Caucus members and staff anytime during the morning of Saturday, December 8th or at lunch. We can be flexible to meet your schedule.
The Winter Western Policy Roundtable will promote a dialog with attendees and official policy makers on current and upcoming 2019 Western Caucus priorities. Agenda topics include: Water/drought, federal & state conservation, public lands, and achieving Western Caucus priorities via the Administration & legislatively. The format is set up so that it will encourage engaging Q&A and cross table dialogue beyond the time slotted for prepared remarks.
Attending this event will be Members from the Congressional and Senate Western Caucuses, Congressional Staff, and Foundation financial supporters and guests. To date, we expect our honorary Co-chairs Senator Steve Daines & Rep. Paul Gosar as well as Senator John Barrasso; Senator Dean Heller; Agriculture Committee Chairman Rep. Mike Conaway; Rep. Frank Lucas; Rep. Dan Newhouse; Rep. Bruce Westerma and others caucus members to be announced. We will also have newly elected Western officials.
The Western Caucus Foundation (WCF), a non-profit organization that provides education and communications to policy makers and the public to further enhance, sustain, and preserve the West's dynamic and unique culture. The Foundation also assists the efforts of the Senate and Congressional Western Caucuses efforts promote rural values and preserve our uniquely American way of life.
