This fact, observed in acute Ieukaemias ais0 by Kroqh Jemen 16, 20, 211, seem to demonstrate that the abnormal cells derive from a common stem-ctll with anomalous chromosome pattern. Regarding the formation of the abnormal complement, it is noteworthy that some of the reponed patients with acute leukaemia or erythrolcukaemia had a history of exposure to S-ra!-s [ I , SJ.
