The abore numbered claims have been referred to this Division for a further state ment relative to the claimant'a exposure to silica dost. According to a letter by william L. Wilson, Occupational Hygiene and Hedlcal Services, the claimant had a total of approximately 26 years employment with .the loungetown 3ieet and Tube
Company in which he was exposed to dust ranging fro* 2 to 20 nillion particles per cubic foot of air and containing a high percentage of free silica*
According to 0* D* 106151 filed against the Koppers Co., Inc., the claimant worked
lining blast furnaces and open hearths, using fire brick, from 19li7 intermittently
through January 1952* Experience of this Division indicates that he would also be
exposed from 2 to 20 Million particles of dust per cubic foot of air and this dust,
would contain up to 3$f flree silica*.

0. C. 106151 that the claimant's last "work, was in construction work whero building brick were used and that no exposure to silica dust whatsoever took place in such
