Confusion has occurred because the laboratory Formulators have been guided by the names contained in the Indices, rather than adhering rigidly to the Sales Departments* classification of the customer. In other words, the Formulators have not asked the Supervisor if this ac count belonged to "Painter Maintenance," "Product Finish" or "Industrial Maintenance," and in some cases, the Supervisor may not have recognized the importance of this identification.
