Benton Early called me regarding the possibility of special colors for the prefinished Galbestos siding. He told me that you were attempting to have a standard color approved which could certainly expedite production and not place an added cost burden for special color formulation to the owner. In the meantime, I was requested to obtain a color chip of the Coastal Beige #326-6741 manufactured by DuPont. I tried the DuPont Lucite distributor here in Phoenix and also the direct DuPont paint supplier in Phoenix, Young .Sales, and they both told me that they had no information on this color and that the number did not even appear to be a DuPont reference. It is very possible that this color formulation is produced by a different division of DuPont, but in essence we are unable to obtain the required chips for preparation of our samples.
