Douglas - Supervisor Material Control COMMENTS D. Holtman - Material Control B. Hirsch - Senior Project Engineer T. Orban G. Jacoby - Senior Project Engineer D. Emrick - Senior Project Engineer B. Koogler - Senior Project Engineer Pricing for the 1981 model year should be forwarded to them as soon as practicable. The writer's letter dated April 7th regarding Abex accounts receivable is being reviewed and we should have an answer shortly. Anthony hopes to keep these things cleared up by May 1st. The writer's letter dated April 7th regarding undo inventory in our plant as a result of their cancellation of the AC-Delco program under engineering changes dated last November will be handled. We are to invoice Delco-Moraine for this inventory and the invoice should cover our ietter dated January 3rd to them. Send the invoice to the writer and I will forward it with a covering letter to his specific attention. Do not send it direct. Regarding the Overseas X, A and B-cars, we are to continue to hold the pucks, lining segments and raw material until further instructions. We were requested to review the raw material situation to see if the shelf life allowed u's to return it to Eurppe for use and then we would only charge them handling and freight charges rather than the total charges referred to. We should ship all consigned parts from GM such as rivets, sensors, steel backs, etc., back to them to the attention of Steve Douglas. These items are covered in P. H. Grim's letter dated January 31, 1980. In the Engineering Group, it was established that Abex non-asbestos formulation 3027-7 and -8 were lined and forwarded to the West Coast for testing and evaluations by Buick on the J-car. No dynamometer testing was done on the parts at the Delco location. Mr. Hirsch is not aware of any test results from Buick. The 931-66 in 11" x 2" sizes is on a back-burner, although there is a chance ...we might get a free ride vehicle evaluation shortly. SCI 02608
