To: Jackson, RyanOackson.ryan@epa.gov] From: Peter Wright Sent: Wed 11/29/2017 11:59:49 PM Subject: American College Support Jim Bruen.vcf Mary Ellen Ternes.vcf Ryan I spoke with Jim Bruen, the immediate past president of the American College of Environmental Lawyers this afternoon. He does not think that the College can officially endorse me or anyone or anything involving a political appointment or matter. He would be very glad to write a letter of support. I then spoke with Mary Ellen Temes, who I believe you know, who is the Secretary of the ACEL and who is also very glad to write a letter in support. She told me that she is a Democrat, which I did not know (I did not ask Jim about his political affiliation as I assumed that coming from San Francisco it would be assumed he was a Democrat). Deliberative Process Privilege/Ex. 5 I do have confirmed calls set up with Joe Andrew for next week and Anne Andrew on the week following. I had my FBI interview this morning. The FBI spoke with my neighbors this afternoon. I hope this indicates that the background check is get close to completion.
