NEW YORK, DECEMBER 29, 1966 - Erich K. Zimmermann, age 63, manager, Oncor pigment sales for National Lead Company since 1961, died at his home in Ridgewood, New Jersey,
December 28th, At the time of his death he had completed
29 years of company service, Mr, Zimmermann began his company career at the Titanium
Division's Paint, Paper and Rubber Service Laboratory in New York City in 1937, He directed development work on the application of titanium pigments in industrial finishes until
1941 at which time he became manager of the laboratory. In
1950 he was transferred to the Brooklyn Research Laboratories
to direct the paint, pigment and coatings research and development activities. He was appointed assistant technical
director of the Brooklyn laboratory in 1953. Mr. Zimmermann
received his B.S. in chemical engineering as well as his
M. S. in chemistry from Lehigh University,
He is survived by his wife Lillian, a son Karl, a
brother and two grandchildren.
